Herbalife Gran Canaria suffered a tough loss at home versus MoraBanc Andorra.
It was not the ideal game for Herbalife Gran Canaria. After making the cut to the Copa del Rey and getting the first win in Eurocup Top16, the yellow team hosted MoraBanc Andorra in the first match of the second leg of Liga Endesa.
It was a close game for the first 20 minutes. The islanders stayed close to Andorra thanks to a good job at both rims but came short at halftime, 36:39.
The second part of the game was a total nightmare for Herbalife Gran Canaria as the team struggled with the 3 pointers and defense. MoraBanc Andorra gained confidence in their game with good shots and great energy and the final result was an honest reflect of what happened during all night -64:90 and a L for Herbalife Gran Canaria.
It’s not a bad situation despite that for the islanders -after 18 games Herbalife Gran Canaria rank 8th in the standings with a 10-7 record. Only two wins less than the 4th.
