Herbalife Gran Canaria’s new project will kick off its season playing at home versus RETAbet.es GBC.
ACB published a couple days ago the schedule for the upcomingo 2015-16 season. Herbalife Gran Canaria will start as a local for the first time since 2012 -that year the yellow team beat Gescrap Bilbao at Centro Insular de Deportes by 65-59.
Canarian basketball will have two big parties once again when Herbalife Gran Canaria and Iberostar Tenerife will face each other. The first derby will be on November 15th at La Laguna. In the second leg it will be Gran Canaria’s turn to host the game, on January 31st for the 18th round.
Next November 22nd, on Round 7 of Liga Endesa, CAI Zaragoza will visit Gran Canaria Arena in which’s gonna be the first comeback ever for Tomás Bellas. After six seasons defending the yellow jersey, the guard will play against Herbalife Gran Canaria.
FC Barcelona Lassa will be the last team to visit Gran Canaria Arena in the first leg next January 16th. On the other hand, the reigning champion Real Madrid will visit the island on March 6th.
